Ode to The Signs of Lekwungen

hundreds of years
of descendants.
original bronze castings;

original cedar carvings

depict spindle whorls.
traditional foundation,
Coast Salish family placed
at seven significant sites
anchored to a base
under a map of traditional place,
sacred to the artist.
