Interesting prompt. There are so many great sayings out there, and of course once you are actually asked the question, “what is your favourite saying?” All of them rush out of your head like they are trying to escape an alien attack. So in the end the only saying left in my head is “So long and thanks for all the fish” and it you have to ask where that one comes from, the answer is “42.”
