Writober, Day 1
Welcome to “Writober,” a challenge hosted by Maria at Experience Writing.
Today’s prompt (well one of them as there are a few to choose from, and this is the one I am going for): “Prompt: Focus on your breath. Cover your ears and listen to your own breathing. Use punctuation, repetition, enjambment, and/or internal rhyme to create breath in your poem. Write about one of your deepest fears, expressing how your breathing changes when gripped by fear.”
And today, I will write a Breath Poem as suggested
Sick and Alone at Home
Warm blanket
covers me
hidden from ghosts

Happy Writober! I love this. I practiced breathing your poem in the different possible breath poem ways and really enjoyed it. It’s hard to read aloud while breathing in. 🎃
Thanks! Happy Writober to you 🙂
So few words, yet they breathe both comfort and unease. Reading the title after the poem made it linger even deeper.
