Fandango’s One Word Challenge: Rugby

“Welcome to Fandango’s One-Word Challenge (aka, FOWC).

Today’s word is “Rugby”.

Not so much rugby as just rug.

RagTag Daily Prompt: Knit

A response to the RDP Daily Prompt.

Today’ prompt is Knit.

Pretty sure this is a knitted decoration, perhaps one of the ones work friend Wendy has gifted me over the years…

Just Jot it January, 2025: January 11

Your prompt for JusJoJan January 11, 2025, is it’s the little things.

The little things do make the most impact. Like grains of salt or little kittens…

2025 365: Day 11 (January 11)

My daily photo (well, usually one of many…)

Today: Zodiac.

Somewhere up there is the zodiac, or at least the stars people have created the zodiac legends around.

Caturday!

Fandango’s One Word Challenge: Operational

“Welcome to Fandango’s One-Word Challenge (aka, FOWC).

Today’s word is “Operational”.

Believe it or not, these additional pedestrian lanes on the street near us are still operational. Why? No one knows…we suspect it’s because our city council hates cars and thinks eliminating parking will make them go away.

RagTag Daily Prompt: Compensation

A response to the RDP Daily Prompt.

Today’ prompt is Compensation.

I wonder if there is compensation for not being warned due to signs toppled over?

Just Jot it January, 2025: January 10

Your prompt for JusJoJan January 10, 2025, is echo.

Echo. A repetition or imitation. When I think of an echo, I think of someone standing on a cliff on one side of a valley yelling across and hearing their words coming back to them. Always wondering what they would do if their words came back to them in someone else’s voice…

2025 365: Day 10 (January 10)

My daily photo (well, usually one of many…)

Today: Striped.

Striped, but also a good indication of why it’s never good to ask me to write something by hand…

Pull Up a Seat Challenge – 2025 Week 2

Welcome to XingfulMama’s Pull Up a Seat Challenge

“As I get older I find myself more and more often looking for a place to perch when I am out and about. This might be a chair, a bench, a wall, a pew…maybe even a log or a rock. These spots can be artfully designed, quirky or very plain, sometimes they have a view, sometimes you meet someone else who needs a rest.”
