“Welcome to Fandango’s One-Word Challenge (aka, FOWC).
Today’s word is “Operational”.
Believe it or not, these additional pedestrian lanes on the street near us are still operational. Why? No one knows…we suspect it’s because our city council hates cars and thinks eliminating parking will make them go away.

Pedestrians can walk in the street when there is a sidewalk right next to the street walkway?
During COVID? Yes…
Wow!
In my city, most of the sidewalks in business areas don’t have space for pedestrians, let alone allowing them to walk on the street.
Here we are all about pedestrians and bikes…well, city council is anyway
