Just Jot it January, 2025: January 19
Your prompt for JusJoJan January 19, 2025, is Why.
There are so many questions I have beginning with why.
Why are weekends so short?
Why did it take us so long to replace the door to nowhere with an amazing window?
Why do institutions pretend they care about the people who work for them while engaging in behaviors that show plainly that they don’t?
Why do people lie as if it is no big deal, and why do other people insist on believing those lies even when it’s obvious they are lies?
Why do I even bother asking?

Just Jot it January, 2025: January 18
Your prompt for JusJoJan January 18, 2025, is pack/peck/pick/pock/puck..
Why is it the first thing that comes to mind is pick a peck of pickled peppers? Pack of wolves, pecking birds, pick of the crop, pocked by pucks slamming into the door. Gotta love a set of words where the only difference is the bowls. Of course we also have peek or peak, although they are spelled without c’s. And pike, poke. Lucy is saying she doesn’t care…time for cuddles.
