Blogging from A to Z Challenge: G is for… (#AtoZChallenge)
Welcome to my April 2024 Great and Powerful Blogging from A to Z Challenge!
I’ve revealed my theme (A poem a day…with picture), and of course, I am unashamedly blogging my theme letters on the fly. So, here goes nothing!
So, without further ado, G is for ... Ghazal. A Ghazal is “an Arabic love poem or love-song. A poetic form consisting of couplets that share a rhyme and a refrain. It is a Persian/Arabic /Urdu/Hindi and now English form of poetry between 5-15 rhyming couplets with or without refrain. (The refrain is the repeating part at the end of each couplet).” This will be a challenge!
Love lost
I sit and mourn, empty
since abandoned, poor me.
Oh, what shall I do now?
There is no way for me
To replace you in good
time for breakfast. Sore me,
I breathe in and close eyes
to find calm come o’er me,
But an empty bacon
plate is still before me.

Thanks for visiting my 2024 A to Z Challenge – Letter G.
Guess I’m kind of going rogue too…although I do like using the “official” letters…

Nice! There is another blogger doing something similar using paint chips as the words. Have you seen that one?
