Today: Diamonds.
And fire…

100 Day Challenge: Day 1
I am doing the 100 day challenge, and my challenge is to take a photo and write at least 100 words about that photo every day for 100 days. A visual and written journal as it were. Here are the “rules.”
“Do a design operation that you are capable of repeating every day, for 00 days, by which time you will have done the operation one hundred times. The only restrictions on the operation you choose is that it must be repeated in some form every day, and that every iteration must be documented.”

This is the photo this week’s photography class assignment. The theme this week is “Quotation”, so naturally I was obsessed with a specific song title and had to take an image to fit it. Road to Nowhere by the Talking Heads is one of my favourite songs right now, so it made sense (and since I did a photo around Once in a Lifetime, called Shotgun Shack, I decided to continue the trend.
I confess I really wanted to get a person or two into the shot, but when I went out, the only people I saw seemed to be all walking toward me, and not away from me, and if there is one thing I am it’s really reticent to take pictures of people when they can see what I am doing and I can see their faces seeing what I am doing. So this because a Road to Nowhere for me, which matches with the first version of this song which was sung by David Byrne in the first person.
There you have it!
Pull Up a Seat Challenge – 2024 Week 8
Welcome to XingfulMama’s Pull Up a Seat Challenge
“As I get older I find myself more and more often looking for a place to perch when I am out and about. This might be a chair, a bench, a wall, a pew…maybe even a log or a rock. These spots can be artfully designed, quirky or very plain, sometimes they have a view, sometimes you meet someone else who needs a rest.”
