Brokenhearted
Good morning blogging friends. Today, Kevin and I are brokenhearted. Our Jasper’s ultrasound revealed numerous tumours throughout his wee body and he is now home on palliative care. We are trying to make him as happy and as comfortable as possible for what little time we will have left with him. I will post more Jasper memories over the next while, but here he is in happier days.

Oh no … so sorry to hear such sad news of your dear Jasper. We do all we can to make them comfortable before their journey across the rainbow bridge, and that’s all we can do. <3
That’s all we can likely hope for at this point.

Oh Emily … I cried when I read this post, for over the years I’ve come to know Jasper and Elliott and love them almost as much as our own. This is Jill, by the way … my comment on your other post yesterday posted as ‘Anonymous’ and I see that several others today are Anonymous … not sure what WordPress is up to here. Anyway, know that my heart goes out to you and Kevin … and I wish I could hold Jasper just for a little while, pet him and whisper good thoughts to him. Love ‘n hugs to you all. 💔
Hi Jill. I don’t know what is going on with WP either – my comments on other sites are doing similar things. Thanks so much – Jasper is hanging in there. We have him on Prednisolone and that has sparked his appetite so as long as he eats and drinks and pees and poops and knows us and follows us and is as happy as he can be, we will support him and hold him close. He is trying hard to be his old self which is both heartening and heartbreaking to see. But as long as he is with us, we are happy.
