2021 Home Photo Challenge January 8, 2021
This is a challenge from Lillie-Put, and I want to pick it up for 2021 so I can use it to learn to use my new camera.
Hey! Look a this – I have a set of prime lenses from hubby back in the day when he was a photographer. They are old analog lenses I have adapters for to connect to my digital Canon, and I just tried them on the full frame, and they work!! Can’t use some of the digital features (like aperture is controlled manually on the lens), but they are fab lenses! This is from the 50mm.

This is good. For some reason, I have a hard time with my 50mm lens. I just cannot get the hang of it. Need to go back to it and try again. Obviously, the problem is not the lens….
It’s all about practice for sure. I will put one lens on my camera and use that lens alone for a period of time. I don’t always like it, but it makes me think about it…
That’s what everyone says to do, and I really need to do that. I live in telephoto or macro lens only. On the plus side, though, I have been working in Manual only instead of Aperture mode. Baby steps…..
This is great! I really love how your camera captures the light from the tree and the shadow of the cat.
Thanks!
Most welcome. What setting are you using for that effect?
Well, it was F5.6 on the lens, and then 100 for shutter speed and 32000 ISO (it was dark in the space). Then I did a wee bit of fixing in Ligthroom and changed it to B&W. Don’t ask me what I did in Lightroom – I just click things until I like what the picture looks like 🙂
Lol!I do the same thing when I edit.
