2020 Daily Writing Challenge: August 4
For my writing challenge, I am going to be working with daily prompts from the book “The Daily Writer: 365 Meditations to Cultivate a Productive and Meaningful Writing Life.”
So, today is: Thinking about your readers – I’m supposed to draft a poem or letter addressed to my fellow citizens in which I share one idea for making the world a better place. And be as detailed as I can about what I propose.
Dear fellow Blogging Citizens;
I have an amazing plan for making the world a better place. Take more pictures of kitties. Yes, I could tout a plan for getting (encouraging) people to wear masks (come on, it’s not just all about you…) or for voting for someone other than a giant Cheeto (cheetos really don’t make good presidents … just saying). But really, who would listen? Those who already subscribe to those plans would smile and nod, and those that don’t will just keep making it worse for the rest of us.
