Blogging from A to Z Challenge: F is for…Trude Fleischmann (#AtoZChallenge)

Welcome to my April 2020 Great and Powerful Blogging from A to Z Challenge!

Born in 1895, Trude Fleischmann was a portrait photographer initially in Vienna, where “she became one of Vienna’s leading portrait photographers soon after opening her opening her own studio at the age of 25. Her studio became a gathering place for Vienna’s cultural elite and she became known as the “Photographer of the Famous,””

Fleeing persecution before WWII, she landed in New York in the late 1930s where she continued to photograph celebrities like Eleanor Roosevelt and Albert Einstein.  She died in 1990.
