And today, the prompt is “Sun pillars”.

I am so much better at thinking of appropriate photos for these prompts, then at writing about them.  But, that’s why I am trying to add these prompts to my roster – to work on my writing.  I mean, I write my morning pages, but creating something for public consumption (aside from work-related tutorials, etc.) is another thing.  Beyond a few words, my blog posts tend to be photo related, with pithy comments – even the more writing-related posts (like Share Your World).

But none of this has anything to do with Sun pillars.  Pillars of the Sun.  There was a book called Pillars of the Earth, about a multi-generational building of a cathedral that was turned into a mini series on TV a few years back.  I really enjoyed the book a lot.  Pillars of the Sun sounds like something in a Greek temple of the sun – you know, pillars holding up the temple that have the Sun painted on them?  Or maybe pillars holding up the Sun, because it really is mounted above our flat earth.

Maybe I need to think about this a bit more…
