Fandango’s One Word Challenge: Tenacity
“Welcome to Fandango’s One-Word Challenge (aka, FOWC). It’s designed to fill the void after WordPress bailed on its daily one-word prompt. Today’s word is “Tenacity.”” (https://fivedotoh.com/2019/08/27/fowc-with-fandango-tenacity/)
With tenacity, mom and I waited over 7 hours at the hospital for dad to get out of his surgery. But there were photos to be taken!

I hope the surgery went well.
It sounds like it did – more complicated than hernia surgery is normally, but that seems to be par for the course for my dad’s surgeries at any time!
I hope your dad’s okay! <3
So far, so good. He is supposed to be going home today…
Is your dad alright? Great pics … quite capturing the coldness of hospital waiting rooms!
The surgery and recovery were longer than they should have been, but the doctor seemed to think he would go home today. Hospitals are not nice places to have to site and wait around for hours…
No, they certainly are not. Glad your dad is on the road to recovery! Hugs!
Emily–I hope everything went well and your dad is OK. Hospitals…**shudder**
So far, so good. Of course, I have to go back there for mom’s out-patient surgery on Friday. Never fun.
Oh goodness. No, not fun at all. I’m so sorry.
Hope all is well. Things would be easier if hospitals just provided more comfortable chairs.
I just can’t figure it. Do they think uncomfortable seats will weed out the people who really aren’t serious about being in emerg? Crazy!
