Share Your World – July 15, 2019

And now for this week’s Share Your World (https://sparksfromacombustiblemind.com/2019/07/15/syw-7-15-19/

Why do we seem to respect the dead more than the living?

They’re not around to piss us off anymore.

Why is beauty associated with morality?  Or not?   (a few weeks back I asked a similar question, but the key word was MORTALITY, not MORALITY).

Because it makes for a great plot twist.

Have gadgets and apps taken away emotions?

Not taken so much as siphoned off slowly for use when they rise up to destroy us all.

Is there a perfect life?  What’s your version of a perfect life if you care to share?

Do you disagree?

  1. My idea of a perfect life … I think it varies from one day to the next. Some days, it would be a small island in the Pacific with no electronic toys, no outside communication, just a small hut filled with great books. Other days, it might be being a writer, still a recluse, but with access to such things as the internet for research, and the phone for staying in touch with a small group of friends. The one thing my vision of a perfect life would never be is a socialite or jet-setter, for I am happiest when all is quiet and am never comfortable in a crowd.

  2. Thanks for Sharing Your World and apologies from me that I didn’t credit you sooner. o.O The only thing that I’d change in your perfect world is to substitute my dogs for your cats. The sight of a happy sleeping pet is priceless IMHO, whatever the species. So comforting too!
