I wish that I could say that I was having a good weekend, but we’re waiting on the call that my aunt has passed away. I was told yesterday that she wasn’t expected to make it through the night. 🙁

I never heard of that word either, but I like the turtles! I tried to take a photo of some that sun themselves at our lake, and they saw me and jumped back in the water.
These guys are very chill and pose all the time for tourist photos…and for those of us not tourists, but just looking like one ’cause of, you know, camera!
I’ll bet those turtles are red-eared sliders. We used to have one as a pet.
