Gorgeous, as are all your flowers. Tomorrow, when I can get the ‘before and after’ pics from Miss Goose, I have a story to tell you about an Impatiens and a mystery for you, with your horticultural knowledge, to solve for me! 😀
I look forward to your story, but I warn you…my horticultural knowledge consists of me going to the garden store and picking up plants I like while occasionally glancing at the card that tells me what they are 🙂
Ah … still, I think you have a greener thumb than I do! I cannot figure out how to get the pictures in a comment box on WP, so I will just have to tell you the story. We went to the nursery Sunday before last and purchased a few potted plants for the back patio. I’m like you … I pick what I like and maybe check the card to see what it is, maybe not. Anyway, this particular one was beautiful with striking deep pink blossoms. We brought them home, gave them water, and the next morning it was dead. D-E-A-D. All the blooms had shriveled and fallen off, the leaves were curled and drooping, there was not a sign of life to that plant. Nonetheless, I gave it water, told it I was so sorry for whatever I did wrong. And the next morning it was good as new with about 50 buds on it! It is some sort of Impatiens but we are referring to it as the ‘reincarnation plant’. 🙂
Wow – I love it! We have some bamboo plants that look like they are dead every spring, and then suddenly come back to life. I hope for Kevin’s sake they keep coming back (they are his babies!!)
I love bamboo plants! My neighbor has a couple that she is growing in … just water … no soil … and they are thriving. She gave me a cutting from one, but … of course … it died. :'(
