Let’s just let sleepy kittens lie today…
Tuesday Photo Challenge – Nostalgia
Here is Dutch Goes the Photo’s (https://dutchgoesthephoto.net) Tuesday photo Challenge. This week’s topic is: Colour of Love (https://dutchgoesthephoto.net/2017/02/21/tuesday-photo-challenge-nostalgia/).
“Your challenge is to share a photo or photos that make you think of the way that things used to be; this can be good or bad, your choice, and, as usual, your artistic license is to strike out and come up with your creative work!”
A few things that made me think about times past when I saw them.
Share Your World – February 20, 2017
And now for this week’s Share Your World (https://ceenphotography.com/2017/02/20/share-your-world-february-20-2017/).
When you cut something with scissors, do you move your jaw (as if you were about to chew)?
Well, I wouldn’t have thought so, but now I’ll be thinking about it every time I use scissors!
Do you chew your pens and pencils?
Nope – no chewing of pens and pencils here – nope – move along…
Are you a collector of anything? If so what?
Thoughts and wits (not always successfully…)
What size is your bed?
Not big enough for someone who sleeps at a diagonal…
Optional Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
I am continually grateful for my work colleagues (you know who you are) who are the strongest people I know! Looking forward to the weekend and finally spending time in my garden! (and lounging with kitties in front of the fire…)
Tuesdays of Texture: Week 8 of 2017

Monday Window: February 20 2017
And now it’s time for Monday Window!
A few windows in the newly renovated historical Janion.
Macro Moments Challenge: Week 32
Week 31 of Macro Moments from Musin’ with Susan (https://musinwithsusan.com). (https://musinwithsusan.com/2017/02/22/macro-moments-challenge-week-32/). Just to remind you (and me), here’s how the challenge works:
- Choose a favorite macro photo from the past week or from your archives.
- Add the photo to your post and a brief description. I would love to know, as I am sure others would, too, what camera and lens you used and your settings.
iPhone 6, Camera+ app, Macro setting, f/2.2, Exp 1/30, ISO-50, Madison Avenue filter
