Christmas Writing Prompt #2 – Hardest person to buy for

I am trying my hand at a couple of December/Christmas-lead-up challenges this year.  I just posted my first Christmas Countdown post, and now I am looking at the Christmas Writing Prompt (at

So, for day two of this challenge,


Ok, that’s a hard one.  For one thing, I hate shopping.

I also, upon reflection, have found everyone hard to buy gifts for at one time or another.  Mainly because I try really hard to think of something that they would like to have, but not necessarily buy for themselves, and I often can’t think of that one special thing (perhaps if I started before December 15??).

Oh, and did I mention that I hate shopping?

I can tell you, I am not hard to buy for at all!  An Amazon gift card, a couple of bottles of Dark Matter, or a plate of bacon!  That’s all I want for Christmas 🙂

  1. You hit the nail on the head with the whole getting them something they want but would not necessarily buy for themselves. It always make me wonder if they won’t buy it for themselves do they truly want it?
