NaNoPoblano – Day 15 (November 15): Figuring it all out
Go NaNoPloblano (National Blog Posting Month) (https://cheerpeppers.wordpress.com/) ! And day 15 of 30 Days of Thankfulness (https://mcclendonvilla.wordpress.com/2016/10/29/30-days-of-thankfulness/).
No, not what’s happening in the world – I will never get that. But I am going to try a new workout schedule. There is a kickboxing place near our house, but the after-work classes are typically around 8:00 pm, and I just can’t get motivated to go out that late, especially at this time of year.
Thankfully (see me get to the thankful part!!) they have classes at 7:00 am as well, which means I could still get to work in good time and then my workout would be done! I know I said to Debbie from Forgiving Connects the other day that getting up early for running would be too hard for me, but I think I can do the kickboxing. I have to walk there in the dark, but it will be light, warm, and dry (except for the sweat flying) in the gym.
So, tomorrow morning? Kickboxing at 7:00. Wish me luck!!
But for now, coffee and then supper! Oh, and of course, relaxing with kitties…

Good luck. These dark days of winter are hard on motivation.
They sure are….hibernation does seem like a reasonable option….
You’re pretty kick-ass now. Soon, you’ll be able to literally kick ass! 😃
Aw, thanks! And I sure hope so 🙂
Good luck! You reminded me of something funny that I saw on a talk show the other morning while waiting for David to get his hair cut. A man asked the ladies on the panel, “What do you never feel the need to do again?” One of the ladies answered immediately, “EXERCISE!” That was a great answer, I thought. haha
Have a blessed day!
The problem is that I always feel the need to exercise – I just find all kinds of other things I want to do instead! 🙂
I understand. It is easy to get distracted. 🙂 I feel the need to exercise. I know that it would help me to lose weight and to breathe better, at least for a time. BUT, the lung issue and some other healt issues keep me from being able to exercise the way that would be most effective. I can control what I eat and do try to do that for the most part. I admire you for your determination to exercise, especially first thing in the morning! I can’t wait to hear all about how it goes. 🙂
Yay, you can do it Emily! I can hardly wait to see how it goes. Kickboxing sounds awesome!
Love, Debbie
I’ll make sure to report out!! Have a good evening 🙂
