JNW’s Hallowe’en Challenge: Day One – Pumpkin
An October Challenge! Ok, I’ve already missed day one, but I am catching up here. I haven’t been doing too well with challenges over the past couple of weeks. I’ll blame Donald Trump. Why? Because, why not?
Anyway, this is JNW’s Hallowe’en Challenge, “31 days, 31 topics. Share a photo, drawing, story, poem, quote, etc. every day of October. Each day there will be a new topic, but if you prefer to stray from the topics, as long as your post is Halloween oriented, it counts!” And this is my post for Day 1: Pumpkin (https://jennifernicholewells.com/2016/10/01/jnws-halloween-challenge-pumpkin/)
I’m not much good at carving pumpkins (kind of like my pottery experience of last week), but I am good at finding pictures of pumpkins other people have made on my computer…

Nice choice of photos, but where is Donald Trump. I though he had orange hair, so he would be a good model for a pumpkin 🙂
I will be interested to see how many Donny-Pumpkins are created this Hallowe’en. They will certainly be the scariest of them all!
Those are all great pumpkins. Where did you find the crochet pumpkin pattern?
I’ve never carved a pumpkin before and don’t even know if I could do it. I imagine it would be mighty weird looking if I did try. haha
Have a great week!
Thanks! The crocheted ones were made by mom – I am NOT talented enough to make those!! Have a great week too 🙂
Sure you could do it! Knitting and crocheting both take a lot of patience at first to learn (knitting took way more for me!), but I am sure you could do it, too. Did she make up her own pattern for the pumpkin or use a pattern from online somewhere? I’d like to try to make one.
Thank you. This week is starting out great so far. 🙂 I hope that yours is, too!
I think she found a pattern somewhere – I’ll have to ask…
Thanks. 🙂
These are wonderful! So looking forward to all you share.
Thanks! Looking forward to the challenge 🙂
