September 19-Somethin’ Challenge – September 5
This is Suzanne’s challenge at https://mcclendonvilla.wordpress.com/september-19-somethin-challenge/ , and according to her “This challenge is prompted by the song 19-Somethin’ by Mark Wills. You can hear the song here: https://youtu.be/UhSCeItgUEc The following questions are taken from the various lines in the song. There are also a few random questions thrown into the mix to make it a post a day for the month – 30 posts.”
The September 5th question is: Today is Labor Day in the United States. How old were you when you got your first job? What was that job? Did you enjoy it?
It’s Labour Day here in Canada – how is it different from the US holiday? Note the “u”…
As for my first job, I don’t really remember which was first. I vaguely remember a short-lived retail job at a clothing store, but I think that came after working as an accompanist for students at the Conservatory (something I did for many years). I also baby-sat, but I was only in it for the cable 🙂

I am sure it was fun to get paid for watching television. Sounds like my dream job.
🙂 It was fun, except for the babysitting kids part!
I think the job at the conservatory sounds like a lot of fun. What did you like best about it?
Thanks for participating in this challenge. Have a great week!
I really enjoyed playing for the little kids. They were fun!
I am sure they were. Music and little kids are a great combination. 🙂 Have a blessed day!
