September 19-Somethin’ Challenge – September 1
Another new challenge – this one for the most of September.
This is Suzanne’s challenge at https://mcclendonvilla.wordpress.com/september-19-somethin-challenge/ , and according to her “This challenge is prompted by the song 19-Somethin’ by Mark Wills. You can hear the song here: https://youtu.be/UhSCeItgUEc The following questions are taken from the various lines in the song. There are also a few random questions thrown into the mix to make it a post a day for the month – 30 posts.”
The September 1st question is: What movie could you, or did you, see over and over and over again when you were a teenager?
Easy. The movie I DID see over and over and over again when I was a teenager (and beyond): Star Wars!! And now you can guess my age…sigh…I think this will be a fun and interesting challenge!!

Cool, Emily!! Star Wars is such a classic 🙂 Have a wonderful weekend and blessings <3
Have a wonderful weekend too!

So, last I heard, there was a Star Wars movie that came out last Christmas-time or thereabouts, so you must be like, what, 18? 😀 Not so old!
If you had said that about a certain set of pre-quels awhile back, I would have a very different feeling. This last movie did indeed take me back to the original which, sadly (or maybe not, considering I don’t think I want to be 18 again), was the one I was referring to… 🙂
Oh gosh, that looks like a fun challenge!
I think it’s going to be!
I hope that you’ll join us for this challenge. 🙂
Thanks, Emily! I am glad that you think this is going to be a fun challenge. I think it will be fun reading the memories of other folks. 🙂
Star Wars seems to be the most popular movie for this question so far. I’m an oddball…I’ve never seen it. haha You must be around mine and David’s ages. If I remember correctly, the movie came out in 1977 and David turned 15 that year. That is the year that I turned 12. 🙂
Thanks for playing along. Have a blessed weekend!
I was in grade 7 when Star Wars came out, so yeah – sounds like we are of the same generation! Go last of the baby boomers!! 🙂
I started 7th grade that year, too. 🙂
Although no two lists separate the generations the same way, the last list I saw puts you and I out of the baby boomer generation into Generation X – The Baby Busters, 1965-1980. I play with David about this all the time, that he is a Baby Boomer and I’m a baby. haha
Here’s a link to the last list that I saw: https://irenewaters19.com/times-past/ She has a monthly writing challenge called “Times Past”.
Have a great weekend!
I’m 1964, so right on the edge…which may explain a lot 🙂 Have a great weekend too!!
I was born in August 1965, so according to some lists, I am a notch-baby like my granny. That would explain a lot here, too. Some of us just don’t fit in anywhere. 🙂 Thanks!
It is a fun challenge. And, Star Wars the Original was probably the best one.
You bet it was!! 🙂
