No psychoanalysis for you…

In response to the Daily Post’s Writing Prompt https://dailypost.wordpress.com/dp_prompt/those-dishes-wont-do-themselves-unfortunately/

What’s the household task you most dislike doing? Why do you think that is — is it the task itself, or something more?

Aside from the fact that I prefer not to grade my household tasks (I find them all to be equally annoying), are you trying to get into my head this Tuesday morning?  Is it something more than the task itself??  Come on…sometimes disliking ironing is just disliking ironing.

As long as we’re dreaming…

In response to the Daily Post’s Writing Prompt https://dailypost.wordpress.com/dp_prompt/new-internet-order/

All the world’s countries have decided that the Internet itself needs a government. Your country asks you to run for Prime Minister of the ‘Net — do you accept? If so, what will your platform be?

Yeah, right.  I’d like to see that – all the world’s countries agreeing on something.  If we could wish for that, why on earth would we make it an Internet government?  Why not world peace, or free pizza for all?  Come on…

You woke me up for that?

I could do without THIS journey…

In response to the Daily Post’s Writing Prompt  https://dailypost.wordpress.com/dp_prompt/journey/

Tell us about a journey — whether a physical trip you took, or an emotional one.

I’m setting off on a journey right now I’d rather not be.  I woke up just a bit ago with warning rainbow lights in my eyes telling me that a migraine is coming (the second time in a week).

Or maybe one is NOT coming.  It’s not for certain.  It could be I just end up with a small nagging headache and light sensitivity for the day.  Or a full blown , leave me the hell alone headache.

Wait – it’s a journey into the unknown!  Oh yay…

I need to close my eyes now.

The Untitled Blog Post

In response to the Daily Post’s Writing Prompt https://dailypost.wordpress.com/dp_prompt/cringe-worthy/

Do you feel uncomfortable when you see someone else being embarrassed? What’s most likely to make you squirm?

Yes.  Because there but for the grace of (place name of believed-in deity, other-worldly power, or whatever word suits your purpose – could even be “asparagus”, although I’m not sure why it would be) go I.

It’s been a long week.

In response to the Daily Post’s Writing Prompt https://dailypost.wordpress.com/dp_prompt/green-eyed-lady/

We all get jealous from time to time — what wakes the green-eyed monster for you?

Hey – why is the jealousy metaphor always female?  Nope.  Sorry.  Not going to play today.

But never forget…

In response to the Daily Post’s Writing Prompt https://dailypost.wordpress.com/dp_prompt/forgive-and-forget/

Share a story where it was very difficult for you to forgive the perpetrator for wronging you, but you did it — you forgave them.

You did what?

Feed me Seymour…

In response to the Daily Post’s Writing Prompt https://dailypost.wordpress.com/dp_prompt/you-the-sandwich/

If a restaurant were to name something after you, what would it be? Describe it. (Bonus points if you give us a recipe!)

That’s kind of creepy, someone ordering “me” for supper.  Unless it’s a zombie movie, then there is a certain irony there.  So, instead, how about some more of our garden??

In response to the Daily Post’s Writing Prompt https://dailypost.wordpress.com/dp_prompt/idyllic/

What does your ideal community look like? How is it organized, and how is community life structured? What values does the community share?

Ideal or Idyllic?  Please…  You tell me, which is which?

Bookshelf? Really??

In response to the Daily Post’s Writing Prompt https://dailypost.wordpress.com/dp_prompt/coming-to-a-bookshelf-near-you/

Write a summary of the book you’ve always wanted to write for the back cover of its dust jacket.

I don’t want to write a book.  I do, however, want to post some pictures.
