My husband felt as if he had about this many pairs of specs: he couldn’t use multi-focals, so had umpteen different pairs to cope with things like film cans, light-boxes, shopping-lists, ordinary reading, etc., etc., etc. Sometimes he gathered them up together and threw ’em all on the floor! (but only on the carpet …) [grin]
