Flower of the Day: August 17, 2019

Mystery…

Caturday at last

Need I say more?

RagTag Daily Prompt: Acerbic

A response in starting over with a new daily avoidance (or non-avoidance, as the case may be), here with the Ragtag Daily Prompt (https://ragtagcommunity.wordpress.com/2019/08/16/rdp-friday-acerbic/), today is Acerbic.

This picking word thing for RDP is fun!  Acerbic, eh?  I am never acerbic.  Cynical and sardonic, perhaps.  Sometimes snarky, but only when provoked.  But acerbic?  That’s just crazy talk!

And now, excuse me while I celebrate the fact that it’s Friday after work!

Flower of the Day: August 16, 2019

Feed me Seymour!

Kitten Thursday, and I can’t believe it’s August 15th!

Indeed.  It’s already halfway through August.  I guess summer is dead.  Kittens don’t much care, as long as there are sunbeams to sit in during the day, and fire to stretch out in front of at night.

It’s time for my close-up, Mr. DeMille.

Share Your World – August 12, 2019

And now for this week’s Share Your World (https://sparksfromacombustiblemind.com/2019/08/12/share-your-world-8-12-19/

What makes you laugh?

Knowing that laughing will freak some people out.

What’s the world coming to?  (Credit to Mel of Crushed Caramel…)

The next stop on the crazy train express.

In one sentence sum up the Internet.

Full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

If over time you replace parts on a car, at what point does it stop being the same car you bought? How many parts do you need to replace to make it a new car?

That sounds like a question for Buddha…or Elliot.

Daily Inkling, August 14: Imposter Syndrome

A new writing/photo challenge of sorts for me to try…  The Daily Inkling.  Today is “Imposter Syndrome” (https://normalhappenings.com/2019/08/14/impostor-syndrome-daily-inkling/)

“Do you deal with Impostor Syndrome, the concept of assuming you are unworthy of your accomplishments and will be exposed as a fraud?”

Yes.  Yes I do.  But it doesn’t bother me in the least, because I have kittens.

RagTag Daily Prompt: Fortuitous

A response in starting over with a new daily avoidance (or non-avoidance, as the case may be), here with the Ragtag Daily Prompt (https://ragtagcommunity.wordpress.com/2019/08/14/rdp-wednesday-fortuitous/), today is Fortuitous.

A fortuitous finding of a peacock feather in our front garden yesterday.  Yes, we do have peacocks in the park nearby, but I don’t often see them on our street.  Anyway, it allowed me to indulge in some fortuitous photo taking!

Fandango’s One Word Challenge: Shadow

“Welcome to Fandango’s One-Word Challenge (aka, FOWC). It’s designed to fill the void after WordPress bailed on its daily one-word prompt. Today’s word is “Shadow.””  (https://fivedotoh.com/2019/08/14/fowc-with-fandango-shadow/)

Who knows what lurks in the hearts of men, and basketball hoops?
