Do you like the Bee Gees and if so, what is your favourite track?
I liked them when I was in grade 8 (dating myself here….) and then didn’t until I watched a show about them last year that gave me a whole new appreciation! Staying Alive man.
What was the first record (single or album) you bought?
Bat City Rollers (come on, you know you loved them…)
Do you know what was top of the charts the day you were born?
Do I really want to know? Ok, then…sigh…Baby Love (the Supremes). What other ones do I know. Do wah diddy diddy (how embarrassing), Dancing in the Street (better), She’s not there (excellent!). And I also see Dean Martin, Elvis, and Roy Orbison all on the same chart…crazy!

Do you have a favourite movie?
Only one? No way. How about movies I always try and watch when they come on TV? Dead Poet’s Society, Too Wong Foo, The Fifth Element, The Haunting, Fantastic Beasts and where to find them (the first one), The Avengers, oh and the list could go on forever…
Who is your favourite actor and actress?
Today? Right now? Catherine O’Hara. Been rewatching a little Schitt’s Creek to cheer me up lately.
Do you attend or have you ever attended a live theatre production?
Uh, yeah. I think everyone has, even if it’s just a little drama put on at the local grocery store…
Have you ever wanted to be an actor/actress?
God no. It was bad enough I wanted to be a professional musician for awhile in my life. Can you imagine? Of course, there are days I feel like I am acting my way through the day when people at work ask how things are going and I smile and say fine. Things are only fine out of work these days. It is time to retire yet?

Did you attend Sunday School at your local church as a child?
Depends on what you mean by “local”. It was in our city and I did attend but I don’t think it took.
Did you attend after school classes ie. drama, sports, as a teenager?
Did I? Oh, probably. Definitely not sports though…perish the thought.
Did you go to evening classes after you had left school?
Music music music – piano, flute, voice. Oh, and I guess ballet and what else? Choir at one point. But no sports. Continuing to perish that there thought.
Do you now belong to any groups/meetings (ie WI, single (not dating), young Mums, slimming clubs, young wives, Men’s hobbies )
I don’t know any of these things mentioned here. I belong to our local camera club and attend presentations and workshops online (I could go in person, but who wants to go out and do things at night if you don’t have to?). Plus, these guys might object.

When food shopping, do you go with a list and stick to it, or buy on the hop?
Yes.
When clothes shopping, do you prefer to shop in a store or buy mail order?
Wander around aimlessly looking for something I know I won’t find, or sit comfortably on my couch in front of the fireplace with my iPad? Difficult…
Do you like shopping for shoes?
I don’t like shopping for anything.
Do you enjoy shopping alone or with friends/partner?
The problem here is the word “enjoy”. This is what I do when we are out shopping…

Don’t I need to know what my superpower is first? And that is too much for me to consider at the end of a long work day.
If animals could talk, which would be the rudest?
The ones who won’t sit still for a picture.

What kind of vacations did you have as a child?
We visited all our American relatives in the summer and at Christmas, from Ohio, to Las Vegas, to Florida and sometimes even California. We visited people, not places though so I never saw the Grand Canyon or other famous spots…
Have any of those remained favourites now that you’re an adult?
I have a soft spot for Las Vegas, but the old LV before it changed…you know what I mean…
What has been your best vacation ever?
The time Kevin and I went on vacation, our first (and one of the only road trips we’ve done as an actual vacation with no weddings and stuff attached) and got lost trying to drive through Yellowstone (who knew they closed the park until late spring) and wound up in Cody Wyoming. My aunt, who we were trying to get to in Idaho Falls, said if we survived that we were meant to be…that was 28 years ago.
Do you prefer resorts where there are no kids allowed?
Well, I don’t know as I don’t go to resorts. And I don’t want to insult people with children – I am sure yours are all very well behaved! What I want is a resort that allows cats!

Do you consider yourself to be romantic?
I think it would be more interesting to ask Kevin if he considers me to be romantic…
Do you send cards on Valentine’s Day?
To whom? Send? Only one card is given by me on Valentine’s Day, and there is no sending involved (just a remembering to get one and put it on the kitchen counter in the morning before I head off to work…)
Would you spend a considerable amount of money on a single red rose for your beloved?
Is that rose dipped in gold? Or does it come with a 10 course meal?
What is your idea of a romantic evening?
Any dinner where I do not have to do any cooking or cleaning…

Do you find it relatively easy to fall asleep at night?
Falling asleep is not the problem. It’s staying that way…
Do you remember your dreams?
For about 5 minutes, and no use telling me to write them down. I can’t write with pen and paper in the dark, nor can I turn on the iPad without also waking up Kevin. They are too weird to remember anyway.
If you can’t sleep, do you watch TV, read or listen to music in the hope you will nod off?
Yes.
Can you literally sleep anywhere (chair, sofa, bus, train, flight etc)?
If I am tired enough, I can sleep in meetings, in class, or wait, is that tiredness or boredom? Fine line I guess.

What is the most comfortable vehicle you have even ridden in or driven?
Well, I would say the one I have now, which is good ’cause the lease is up this year and we are going to buy it out.
What is the most uncomfortable vehicle you have even ridden in or driven?
Well, that’s a tossup. Airplanes are very uncomfortable for any number of reasons, no leg room, inconsiderate other passengers, the fact that I absolutely hate flying. Then there was Kevin’s Chevy Monza in which you could see the road through the floor. Then there was the big bus in Vancouver where you had to hold on for dear life to avoid ending up on your butt on the floor. So many uncomfortable ways to travel!
Have you ever ridden a horse (or a donkey at the seaside)?
Yes. I have ridden a horse, but not a donkey either at the seaside or anywhere else. I suspect donkeys would be one of those uncomfortable rides, not that I found horses comfy. But donkeys sure are cute!
If you could have one of these as a pet, which would it be and why? Black panther, cheetah, leopard, lynx
I think we already have all of these – at least that’s what they tell me.

How long did it take you to get back into your normal routine after the holidays? (this does not have to be Christmas and New Year, but any holiday)
Five minutes after I went back to work (but thankfully that wasn’t until Jan 3 cause I work for a college and we are closed over the holidays)
Which makes you feel more relaxed, putting your feet up in front of the fire with a good book or socialising with your friends?
Do you have to ask?
What is your favourite hot drink?
Well, that depends. Is it morning or night? Do I have to work the next day?
If you are feeling poorly, do you prefer to be pampered, or left alone?
I want to be left alone with someone waiting on me at intervals and bringing me hot drinks and soup. You know, best of both worlds!
