November Poem a Day (PAD) Challenge 2023: Day 15
Hi everyone.
This November I will be presenting to you a month of daily poems as memoir, little ditties to tell you about my day or my thoughts during the day, whatever. Of course I hope you enjoy them, but it’s ok if you don’t. Just move on to the next blog in your list.
Day fifteen is: “For today’s prompt, write a poem without pronouns. This was actually more difficult than I realized, writing a poem with he, she, they, me, our, I, we, anybody, everybody, them, and so on. But it’s a fun challenge to try writing with a different mindset.”
A November Wednesday
Darkness upon waking
ushers in
a day of cold and upset
Sunshine in the middle
hard to recall in
the rush of decisions met with horror
Darkness to usher in the day’s end
and the cold night
Tomorrow it begins again.
RagTag Daily Prompt: Birthday
A response in starting over with a new daily avoidance (or non-avoidance, as the case may be), here with the Ragtag Daily Prompt , today is Birthday.
Some pictures from one of my two delicious birthday dinners this year.

Fandango’s One Word Challenge: Attic
“Welcome to Fandango’s One-Word Challenge (aka, FOWC). It’s designed to fill the void after WordPress bailed on its daily one-word prompt. Today’s word is “Attic”.
Wonder what’s in that attic?

2023 365: Day 318 (November 15)
This year, another new set of prompts that I will hopefully follow better for 2023!
Today’s prompt is that I’m not doing prompts any more this year. What you get is what you get!
Not been a great day at work. But I did some yoga and will shortly make some dinner after hanging with kitties. Is it the weekend yet?

Flower of the Day: November 15, 2023
Cee’s Flower of the Day.
I don’t know what directions my flower pics will take this year. For now, I will just play it by ear and see where my fancy flies!

RagTag Daily Prompt: Moustache
A response in starting over with a new daily avoidance (or non-avoidance, as the case may be), here with the Ragtag Daily Prompt , today is Moustache .
A delicious cocktail with a swirl that looks a bit like a moustache.

Fandango’s One Word Challenge: Explode
“Welcome to Fandango’s One-Word Challenge (aka, FOWC). It’s designed to fill the void after WordPress bailed on its daily one-word prompt. Today’s word is “Explode”.

November Poem a Day (PAD) Challenge 2023: Day 14
Hi everyone.
This November I will be presenting to you a month of daily poems as memoir, little ditties to tell you about my day or my thoughts during the day, whatever. Of course I hope you enjoy them, but it’s ok if you don’t. Just move on to the next blog in your list.
Day fourteen is: “Today is the first Two-for-Tuesday prompt, and it’s my favorite recurring prompt: 1. Write a love poem, or…2. Write an anti-love poem.”
Love, zero
Love lobbed back and forth
a birdie between rackets
on the badminton court
or better, a ball
furiously slapping
ping-ponging
Back and forth
Back and forth
Slap, slam, clack
Then over the table
over heads
ducking out of the way
rolling until
gone
Never to be found
until moving day arrives
and under the couch
a pile of dust bunnies, cat toys, and balls
Oh, that’s where love went!
