Flower of the Day: November 23, 2023
Cee’s Flower of the Day.
I don’t know what directions my flower pics will take this year. For now, I will just play it by ear and see where my fancy flies!
I’m going back in time today, cause I’ve been too sick to go out and take new flower photos. “Just” a cold, but it’s a doozy!

November Poem a Day (PAD) Challenge 2023: Day 22
Hi everyone.
This November I will be presenting to you a month of daily poems as memoir, little ditties to tell you about my day or my thoughts during the day, whatever. Of course I hope you enjoy them, but it’s ok if you don’t. Just move on to the next blog in your list.
Day twenty-two is: “For today’s prompt, write a setting poem. Pick a setting: Could be exotic, or it could be something ordinary (even the setting in which you’re currently considering how to write your next poem). Anyway, pick a setting and write it out.”
Pillow prop
under back and arms
hot chocolate
in favourite cat mug
nearby
next to Kleenex box
almost out
maybe I have to get up
replenish supplies
Fireplace’s silent flames
warm kitten
and me
near the window
blinds drawn
keeping sun away from
cold bleary eyes
Doze
cough
doze
cough
Maybe tomorrow
I can work

November Poem a Day (PAD) Challenge 2023: Day 21
Hi everyone.
This November I will be presenting to you a month of daily poems as memoir, little ditties to tell you about my day or my thoughts during the day, whatever. Of course I hope you enjoy them, but it’s ok if you don’t. Just move on to the next blog in your list.
Day twenty-one is: “And just like that we’re finishing the third week of this challenge. Let’s keep the words flowing!
For today’s Two-for-Tuesday prompt:
- Write an introverted poem, or…
- Write an extroverted poem.”
Times have changed
Introverts embraced lockdown
while extroverts
called for return to busy offices
Were they afraid
we would not work hard?
Or just that they would
no longer be noticed?

November Poem a Day (PAD) Challenge 2023: Day 20
Hi everyone.
This November I will be presenting to you a month of daily poems as memoir, little ditties to tell you about my day or my thoughts during the day, whatever. Of course I hope you enjoy them, but it’s ok if you don’t. Just move on to the next blog in your list.
Day twenty is:”For today’s prompt, write an even poem. The poem could be about even numbers, sure, but also about “getting even” with someone. Or perhaps being even-handed. Or even, well, whatever you’d like to do with the word even.”
Sniffle
Even cowgirls
get colds
even-
tually.

Lens-Artists Photo Challenge #276 – Looking Up, Looking Down
Welcome to the Lens-Artists Photo Challenge! The theme for this week’s Challenge is Looking Up, Looking Down.
“The world looks a bit different depending on your viewpoint. In taking photographs I’ve always been encouraged to shoot from various angles as a slight change can substantially alter and perhaps improve the resulting photograph…. especially true when using a wide angle lens. And we know sometimes we should get down on our knees to take a photo, but then, for me, it seems to be getting harder to get back up again. So for this challenge, I want to go for the extremes of Looking Up, and Looking Down, to show the effects of what you can capture at these angles and get a different perspective on our view of the world.”
