2021 Home Photo Challenge January 8, 2021
This is a challenge from Lillie-Put, and I want to pick it up for 2021 so I can use it to learn to use my new camera.
Hey! Look a this – I have a set of prime lenses from hubby back in the day when he was a photographer. They are old analog lenses I have adapters for to connect to my digital Canon, and I just tried them on the full frame, and they work!! Can’t use some of the digital features (like aperture is controlled manually on the lens), but they are fab lenses! This is from the 50mm.
2021 365: Day 8 (January 8)
So, I’m taking my prompts this year from a 365 book simply entitled “365 Day Photo Challenge”. The idea this year is for me to take this more seriously, to think about the prompt and actively shoot for it, not just pick a photo that may or may not match. Yes indeed. Getting real. The prompt today is “Yellow”.

Guess what? My macro lens is full frame! Who knew?

So, I’m taking my prompts this year from a 365 book simply entitled “365 Day Photo Challenge”. The idea this year is for me to take this more seriously, to think about the prompt and actively shoot for it, not just pick a photo that may or may not match. Yes indeed. Getting real. The prompt today is “Telephone”.
I should really hang this up on the wall sometime…don’t think I can get it to work though.
The Return of Kitten Thursday
I have been sadly remiss of late in my Kitten Thursday posts, but it is a new year! And also, with the sad events of yesterday down south of me, I thought we could all do with a little Kitten Thursday.

This is a challenge from Lillie-Put, and I want to pick it up for 2021 so I can use it to learn to use my new camera.
Trying out the widest angle of my lens, but running into all kinds of vignetting. Guess I do really have to save my pennies for some new lenses. Also trying to remember how to use the horizon straightening features in Lightroom. Gotta get me some learning.
