I just wanted to note that this tree, that I took a picture of on Saturday night, is now gone. Ripped out by the City to make way for new bike lanes and more confusing pedestrian crossings. Of course, they assure us that they will be putting in 2 new trees. Why this one had to go? Who knows…progress, I guess. I should also note that I think this sucks.

What do I find cathartic? Taking pictures of things, writing on my blog, kickboxing (yes – it is REALLY cathartic!), and, of course, fire and kittens! Some of the best catharsis at the end of a long day at work…
