Monthly Archives: November 2018

I almost forgot Kitten Thursday…

Which would have been an unforgivable act, even though you have forgiven me in the past (right??)  These guys have…at least they look like they are ok with it…

Thursday Doors, November 8, 2018

Here is Thursday Doors from Norm at Miscellaneous Musings of a Middle-aged Mind (https://miscellaneousmusingsofamiddleagedmind.wordpress.com/2018/11/08/thursday-doors-november-8-2018/)

Some of the amazing carved doors at Emily Carr, some of which have been carved, and some printed using 3D printing technology!  YOu can read a very little bit more about it at https://www.straight.com/arts/958531/first-look-emily-carr-university-art-and-designs-new-campus

Oh, and the campus is, itself, a work of art.  If you’re ever in Vancouver, you HAVE to check it out!

Tuesday Photo Challenge – Comfort

Here is Dutch Goes the Photo’s (https://dutchgoesthephoto.net) Tuesday photo Challenge.  This week’s topic is:   Comfort (https://dutchgoesthephoto.net/2018/11/06/tuesday-photo-challenge-comfort/).

“As the weather is getting colder in New England and many other places in the Northern Hemisphere, the idea of a cozy comfortable spot by the fireplace is rather inviting.  This led me to this week’s theme, which I hope you will all be comfortable with handling!  Think about what denotes Comfort to you and how you would capture it in your mind’s eye, or with your camera’s lens.  Be mindful and creative, and let fun and comfort collide into an expose on the finer parts of our human condition!  I look forward to your creature comforts!!”

What could be more denotative of comfort?

Share Your World – November 5, 2018

Share Your World has moved!  Cee (https://ceenphotography.com/2018/08/30/changes-in-my-challenges/) has handed over the reins to Sparks from a Combustible Mind (https://sparksfromacombustiblemind.com/).  And now for this week’s Share Your World (https://sparksfromacombustiblemind.com/2018/11/05/share-your-world-11-5-18/).

Is there one post on your site that is really special to you?

Nope.  I love them all the same!

How Do You Deal With Negative People?

I roll my eyes a lot…

What Is The First Thing You Think Of When You Wake In The Morning?

Wonder why I have to wake up in the morning.

Would You Rather Be Able To Talk With The Animals Or Speak All Foreign Languages?

Questions like this puzzle me, since neither is possible.  Although, I think being able to talk to animals would be much more productive than expanding the ways I have to communicate with humans.

November is a month in which many people give thanks.  America (and other countries) celebrate an actual Thanksgiving Day. For example, Canada celebrates this in October.  This month the gratitude question will address your life and what things you’ve received or done, that have brought you joy and sometimes relief perhaps. What small thing happened today (or in the past few days) that you were grateful for?

My photography class, which I am going to in a few minutes, followed by Kevin making dinner!  🙂

Soon….

Fandango’s One Word Challenge: Extraordinary

“Welcome to Fandango’s One-Word Challenge (aka, FOWC). It’s designed to fill the void after WordPress bailed on its daily one-word prompt. Today’s word is “Extraordinary.””  (https://fivedotoh.com/2018/11/04/fowc-with-fandango-extraordinary/)

I thought these doors, at Emily Carr University of Art and Design, were pretty extraordinary!

RagTag Daily Prompt: Bask

A response in starting over with a new daily avoidance (or non-avoidance, as the case may be), here with the Ragtag Daily Prompt (https://ragtagcommunity.wordpress.com/2018/11/03/rdp-saturday-bask/), today is Bask.

During my recent trip to Vancouver, I was basking in being upgraded to 17th floor glory!
