RagTag Daily Prompt 51: Duck
A response in starting over with a new daily avoidance (or non-avoidance, as the case may be), here with the Ragtag Daily Prompt (https://ragtagcommunity.wordpress.com/2018/07/21/rdp-51-duck/), today is Duck.
This was from a couple of days ago, and I’ve already posted one of these pictures, but I am still surprised that there were babies at this time of year, and hey, it fits the theme!!

C-C-C-Caturday!!
Yes. This is what they do on a Saturday morning too. They will still be sleeping when mom and dad and my Aunt arrive for lunch. This is what they do.

Three Line Tales – Week 129
This challenge comes from Sonya at Only100Words (https://only100words.xyz/2018/07/19/three-line-tales-week-129/) , and here are the rules:
“Write three lines to go with the weekly photo prompt (the photos I use are either royalty-free or I’ve been given permission by the photographer to use them; please credit where appropriate) – sideways interpretation is encouraged. The photo is the launch point – take us wherever you fancy.”

Carl?
Yeah, Wendell?
Why does it keep saying, “today the living room, tomorrow the world?”
Pictures I took today and yesterday (July 19 and 20)
Yesterday, my Aunt and I went for a walk in Beacon Hill Park. I wanted to show her the park, but especially the Heron nesting area.
We saw all the nests high at the top of the trees, but there didn’t seem to be a lot of feeding or baby action.

We did see some adults flying around

And then saw this fellow in a tree near one of the little lakes. We were able to get very close – seemed a bit unusual for a heron.

Then near the nests we saw these guys wandering around on the ground – ah…the babies are out of the nests!! I don’t know how they get back up – one hopes they are flying now!

Today, mom and my Aunt and I wandered around the gardens at Government House. Here are some of the things I saw…

Fandango’s One Word Challenge: Melancholy
“Welcome to July 20, 2018 and to Fandango’s One-Word Challenge (aka, FOWC). It’s designed to fill the void after WordPress bailed on its daily one-word prompt. Today’s word is “Melancholy.”” (https://fivedotoh.com/2018/07/20/fowc-with-fandango-melancholy/)
I tried to make this house look melancholy. How did I do?
