Everything in my life feels like it takes courage. Getting up in the morning, going to work, answering the phone (when I do, because usually I don’t have enough courage to do so), making new dinners, going for walks, driving, meeting new people for the first time, going to parties, trying on clothes at a clothing store (which is why once I know my size, it’s online buying all the way), putting on a swimsuit (just kidding…there is no way in the world I would ever do that again), writing blog posts about courage. You get the picture.
This was me courageously standing in the grocery store line three days before Christmas!

Elke, I can almost relate to that! Not in everything, but it certainly takes courage for me to go to shops!

I can so relate!!! But, you are younger than I, and when I was younger, none of that bothered me. It’s only since I’ve gotten older that I must muster up the courage to even go to the grocery store or make a phone call. And on another note … WOW … that is one heck of a long line!!!! I remember now why I just pick up my groceries at the drive-thru! Hugs, my friend.
When I was younger, I was still scared, but seem to get more and more reticent (maybe scared isn’t the right word…) to go out and do things on my own. Sigh.
