Fandango’s One Word Challenge: Grateful
“Welcome to Fandango’s One-Word Challenge (aka, FOWC). It’s designed to fill the void after WordPress bailed on its daily one-word prompt. Today’s word is “Grateful.”” (https://fivedotoh.com/2019/07/20/fowc-with-fandango-grateful/)
Still on my stream of consciousness thinking today, I started wondering what it meant to be full of “grate” – perhaps my twice baked potatoes (seen below) would work, being full of grate-ed cheese…which would also be full of great-ness, btw. But alas, wrong again.

I’d be grateful for those!
They are a bit of work, but I am always grateful when I eat them!
Me too! Oddly, I described them to a UK friend who had never heard of them before, and his response was “Sorry I asked”. I guess they don’t have them over there.
I’m always grateful when my wife makes her twice-baked potatoes for a dinner side dish.
And why are they always a side dish??
Because potatoes aren’t the main dish. Haven’t you ever heard the expression “meat and potatoes?” 😏
Definitely! That is gratitude. 😊
Blessings Emily. Hope you’re well.

Not bad – hope your weekend is going well!
