Blogging from A to Z Challenge: B is for…Blossoms (#AtoZChallenge)

Welcome to my April 2019 Great and Powerful Blogging from A to Z Challenge!

I’ve revealed my theme (A picture-story a day (in the life, so to speak)), and as I have every year, I am going to be blogging my theme letters on the fly – this year I didn’t even plan to do otherwise!  So, here goes nothing 🙂

Today, B is for…Blossoms (it is April, after all)!  I should note that I’ve refined my photo parameters for this challenge for photos taken this month, not necessarily on the day in question – you’ll see why momentarily.  And today’s April Writing Challenge and the April Photo Challenge themes are: The Bridge to Malawi, and Funny, respectively.

I have no idea what I could write for a Bridge to Malawi.  I guess I could have made B for Bridge, but I haven’t seen any bridges yet this month.  I guess I could say that I am proud to be a Canadian, given that apparently this is  Canadian charity (http://kidsworldmalawi.com/).  It’s also a non-profit based in Massachusetts (http://bridgestomalawi.org/).  It sounds like there is a lot of good being done for Malawi, which is a country in southeast Africa.

And now, back to Victoria and funny photos, let’s go for funny-peculiar.  At least as far as the peculiar way I like to shoot cherry blossoms this year.  I mean, why just take a photo of pretty blossoms – let’s look at what else is there!  I took these pictures on my after-work walk yesterday (I didn’t get a chance to take them again today, which is probably good as it is getting cloudy out there).

Thanks for visiting my 2019 A to Z Challenge – Letter B.  You can find links to more blogs participating in this challenge at Letter Z, A to Z Challenge Master List (Google Docs).

  1. It’s good tho, contrast of natural and manmade 🙂 (Not that those plants are native…but you know…)

  2. I like this theme!
