Share Your World – 2016 Week 46

And now for this week’s Share Your World (https://ceenphotography.com/2016/11/14/share-your-world-2016-week-46/).

Are you a traveler or a homebody?

I like to think I could be a traveler, but I am really a homebody.  I mean, if we were to take a holiday and I could travel with Kevin, I would. Otherwise, I am happy at home with Kevin and the kitties!

What kind of TV commercial would you like to make? Describe it.

No kind at all – TV commercials need to go away.

Describe yourself in a word that starts with the first letter of your name.

E-xcellent!  🙂

List some fun things for a rainy day.

Reading, blogging, reading, watching a scary movie, reading, sitting in front of the fire…reading…

  1. I don’t think I’d enjoy traveling without my husband, either. I didn’t enjoy it during deployments, but even still, I think I’d rather be with him than anywhere without him.

  2. Thanks so much for sharing. 😀

  3. All good things to do on a rainy day! What do you like to read?

  4. I wouldn’t like traveling without David either. I would never stay in a hotel, that’s for sure! Without him with me, I’d be driving from point a to point b with no stopping. I’d be pee-green (NOT a typo!) and bug-eyed by the time I got where I was going. 🙂

I agree with you about commercials. Nowadays, it seems there are more minutes in commercials than minutes in the show. Just one of many reasons I don’t watch TV anymore.

    Have a blessed day!

    • Kevin is more the drive from a to be without stopping when I’m not with him – I’m scared of getting tired and falling asleep at the wheel! But I definitely don’t like staying in hotels by myself… Hope you have a great day!

      • I’m the sole driver in our family. Getting tired while driving happens to me fairly often. Yes, it is a very dangerous thing. Once, when we had to evacuate for Hurricane Rita (2005), I was so tired that I fell asleep. I don’t know what woke me, unless it was Heavenly Father, but I awoke to find myself on the other side of the road headed toward an embankment. Thankfully, there was no oncoming traffic and we were okay! There have been other times. No matter how much I sleep, I am always very tired. Most days, I’m in zombie mode.
You can read David’s experience of sleep-driving here: Judge and the Hurricane. He has a video on that post of him telling the story, too. A wonderful miracle happened that day. 🙂
Thanks! I hope that you have a great day, too!
