A do-nothing Sunday
A response in avoidance of the Daily Post’s Writing Prompt https://dailypost.wordpress.com/prompts/luxury/
Yes. It was a do-nothing Sunday. Do nothing except laundry and watering the garden. And now I am on my last week of vacay. Sigh…
And now for some sights from the back garden:
Our clematis is blooming again – not as showy as in the Spring, but still pretty.
Bee balm and Echinacea going crazy
And my last clump of black-eyed Susans exploding.
Yet Elliot remains calm throughout…

Elliot…so Zen. He and my Teemu. Parker, not so much.
Well, you only get to see his Zen because I can’t take pictures of him the rest of the time 🙂
Wonderful photos! I love your garden, so good to have outdoor spaces 💖 Great pic of Elliot. Enjoy your week of vacation – have a blast. 😙
Thanks very much! The outdoor space is wonderful – except there are a lot of wasps and spiders out there right now…still nice though…
Do-nothing days are the best!
Yay for still a few more days of vacation left though, right? We’ll sing a dirge next Sunday, and I will join you in my desperately off-key voice, because no more vacation requires a dirge to be sung.
All your plants are looking so pretty, I love how colorful it all is. 🙂
They are, aren’t they?!? And yes, I will join you in the Sunday “back to work on Monday” dirge…sigh…
My husband “sings” one every Sunday. Not literally, but that “Pre-Monday Pall” creeps in near the end of the day.
