Benches
A response in avoidance of the Daily Post’s Writing Prompt https://dailypost.wordpress.com/prompts/praise/
Yes, benches. They are everywhere here. I always see them, but I never really noticed how they were everywhere until I started looking at them yesterday.
They are along the water.
They are in the distance in the brown grass of late summer.
They are watching the cricket pitch (is it called a pitch? Wait, cricket??).
They are in the park looking at the path.
Or at a picnic table (wheelchair-friendly).
Looking at the ponds.
At the top of the hill in the Garry Oak meadow.
In front of the last hydrangeas of August.
Benches? But I’m so cute!!

I love when I find a bench in an unexpected place – I try to make sure I use those ones, especially!
You would be sitting down a lot here 🙂
That is not a bad thing!
I don’t think that would be a bad thing at all!
I’m pretty sure that is the same bench following you around.
Now that would be a cool twist!
Emily this is great — I love how you cover a breadth of perspectives with your posts. 🙂 And the photo of your cat at the end is priceless. Have a wonderful weekend. Blessings!
Thanks! You have a wonderful weekend as well 🙂
the picture of the cat was nice….
Thanks!
I love benches, especially the kind with memorial plaques.
They all seem to have those here!
