Share Your World – 2016 Week 30

And now for this week’s Share Your World (https://ceenphotography.com/2016/07/25/share-your-world-2016-week-30/).

Do you prefer a bath or shower?

A long, hot shower.  Especially after a long, hot run.

If you had an unlimited shopping spree at only one store, which one would you choose? Why?

Nowhere.  I hate shopping.  Well, maybe Amazon – then I don’t have to get out of my jammies.

If you could be one age for the rest of your life, what age would that be?

The age of enlightenment.  I’ll let you know when I get there…

List at least five movies that cheer you up.

Well, these are the ones that come to mind in the moment.  There are a lot of movies I love watching over and over, but not because they “cheer me up”.

  • Blues Brothers
  • A Christmas Story
  • To Wong Foo (don’t judge me – I LOVE this movie!)
  • The Fifth Element (see comment above)
  • Star Wars – hey, I remember seeing it when it FIRST came out.  You can’t tell me it wasn’t the greatest movie experience of all time!!

Now back to my coffee…I mean work…

  1. Love your third answer! Winner, winner chicken dinner with that one! 😃

  2. To Wong Foo–are you kidding me? I love that movie!! Great answer.

  3. I’m with you on the shopping, Blues Brothers and Christmas Story.

  4. Great post Emily! I’m with you on a long shower after a run. Isn’t that the greatest feeling?
My toe keeps getting a blister on it, so I’m backing off for a bit. Sigh. Looking forward to long runs in the future (if that is a good vision for my body of course). Blessings!

    • Thanks! I hope your blister gets better soon. You’ve probably thought of this already, but maybe try some different socks – I am very picky with my running socks (or my feet are, I guess)…

  5. Yes, Christmas Story, and To Wong Foo! Love them both! 🙂

  6. Excellent movie choice, Too Wong Fu is awesome! I laugh and laugh 🙂

  7. I’ve never seen any of the Star Wars movies. Ever, not all the way through, anyway. The kids have watched them and I’ve walked through the room while they were on, but I didn’t watch them. Star Trek is more my speed.

I agree with you on Amazon!

    Have a blessed week.

  8. David E. McClendon Sr.

I remember when the original Star Wars came out. It was sold out for weeks. My friends and I waited to see it until the original rush was over. Then, we went to see it. It was a good movie.

  9. Oh goodness, I hate shopping too! Thank goodness for Amazon! Lol

  10. I saw Star Wars and Close Encounters on same week. Now that was fun. 😀
