Running for Bacon: Back on Track?? Day 2
So, am I really back on track? All I know if I went out for another 4+1 day yesterday, and then took a VERY long walk back. Here are some highlights.
A nice place for a picnic.
They have freshened up all their “no X’ing” signs on the sidewalk – let’s hope it helps people NOT bike, skate or skateboard (it didn’t yesterday…it also doesn’t help people GET OVER when others are walking on the sidewalk towards you. You know, you don’t HAVE to keep walking 2, 3, or 4 abreast. GET OVER!!!) Ok, I’m done now…
No smoking in BC parks any more!
The path down to Clover Point
I wanted to walk longer because I wanted to run along the sea wall. Haven’t done that in a long time!
Stairs up to the street. I did NOT take them!
Once I did get up to the street, I took a couple of shots of the seawall from above
Good wind action yesterday
And finally, everyone has to have their pictures taken next to the Mile Zero marker. I mean, EVERYONE!! There is usually a huge crowd there at this time of year. Guess there is something for everyone…
Tomorrow is a holiday, but I am going to try my best to get out and run anyway. Wish me luck!

We always take our pic at the “Mile 0” marker for A1A when we’re in Key West. Just gotta be a tourist sometimes. 😃
This is true!
Feel silly doing though. 😃
I usually encounter those pedestrians and cyclist going in 3 or 4 packs when I am driving and I always want to shout at them – hey, you don’t have to be side by side morons. But, of course I would never do that!
Me neither 🙂
‘Running for Bacon’…that made me laugh. My husband says he works out so he can eat ice cream. You guys..!!!!
I’m more a salty person, but ice cream would work too – if it had bacon on it!
