Kitten Thursday, a glass of wine, and a political statement

A response in avoidance of the Daily Post’s Writing Prompt https://dailypost.wordpress.com/prompts/beach/

I don’t normally post political statements here, but yesterday ticked me off.

But while some people may be stupid, inconsiderate, and unkind, kitties are very smart (as well as cuddly and happy to snuggle when you’re feeling crappy), as Jasper and Elliot (and Nicholas, although he is not pictured here) will attest to.  Suffice it to say, kitties and a glass of wine were a welcome sight for me coming home after work. Kevin was a welcome sight too, although he came home later after wine and kitty cuddles.

As for the political statement, I thank my work colleague Bob for finding it.  I think it needs to find a place on my Facebook page too…

  1. Ugh….the Donald. Say no more–kitties and wine are the perfect antidote to anything.

  2. How does it happen that a man so despised could become a major party’s nominee? It boggles the mind. Bring on the kitties! Bring on the wine!

  3. Wine sounds so fine right about now! So do kitty cuddles. Have an extra cuddle for me, please? I miss my furry babies. 🙂

  4. I once years ago had a cat that looked just like the guys in your photos. Sweet Jake reincarnated. Cat cuddles can help in this trying time.
