Welcome to today’s post for the great Blogging A to Z Challenge!

Today, B.  Bokeh.  Say it again.  Bokeh.  Don’t worry about how it’s pronounced.  Bokeh.  Fun, isn’t it?

I know a little about Bokeh because I’ve done other picture-taking-like challenges where I had to take a Bokeh picture.  I even managed to take one with the old iPhone.

Bokeh basically means (basically being the operative word given my non-photographer-person status) aesthetically pleasing blurry-ness, or out-of-focus-ness.  And, really, how hard could it be to take out-of-focus pictures?

Guess what?  It has something to do with Aperture!  That was yesterday.  It’s already all coming together 🙂

So, according to the article, a low F number gives you background blur.  I kind of remember that from yesterday too do…  Some cool examples of Bokeh pictures show blurry lights, or one thing in focus with everything else in the background blurry.  Here are some Bokeh pictures I took today.  Don’t know if they’re “good” or “bad”, but I like them!

I’ll have to try for some Bokeh pictures of sparkly lights sometime too.
