Sleepy Saturday

And it was a sleepy Saturday. Our guests were leaving in the afternoon, however, so we did get ourselves out and about for a walk downtown for lunch and a little shopping.
Lunch was curry and chai
Shopping was for tea and trip to Mountain Equipment Co-op. And then a walk back home, via ice-cream. Hey, it was a nice day! Even sunny and warm enough to feel like ice-cream!!
Then our friends packed up and headed out to catch the ferry back to the mainland and their journey back to Saskatchewan. We fell asleep on the couch, much like kitties…

Interesting menu. I love all Asian food, but I’ve never seen mustard greens on any menu of any kind of food around here. Mustard greens are really good, too. 🙂
The restaurant is called Tibetan Kitchen, and it serves locally sourced produce and meats. I love mustard greens too!

My Saturday was busy…but reading this and seeing soothing food and sleeping cats…I feel rest coming on.
