Black or purple?
A response in avoidance of the Daily Post’s Writing Prompt https://dailypost.wordpress.com/dp_prompt/lucky-star/
While I touched up the spare bedroom (the few spots on the crown molding and the baseboards where I got some paint – I did better than I thought I would!), Kevin primed the tub.
Here is the tub before…
Here it is after priming…
I kind of like it black, but we were going to paint it purple to match the bamboo tubs (note that this is an OLD picture, as those of you who follow me will know).
Oh, did I mention the “new” tub is going in the garden (next the the garage-like structure) for raspberries and strawberries? Guess I have now!
What colour shall we paint it?

Daffodil yellow!
Interesting, but nope. We’re more about the dark colours (as you will see when the final house painting project is done…)
Beautiful transformation! Well done. 🙂
Well, not done yet, but you will see that tomorrow!
Gold. Like Byron’s Assyrians coming down like wolves on the fold …
🙂
Where’s the line with the gold garden tubs again?

Ok, I’ll read between the lines – I know if I were the Assyrians, I’d want golden tubs to soak in at the end of a long day of wolfing on the fold.
I jut love those opening lines: I don’t really think you should’ve painted ’em gold …
That depends. Do you want the Batmobile or a giant eggplant? The eggplant is more garden-y but the Batmobile is way cooler.
Oh, Batmobile would absolutely be way cooler. However, I do like eggplants….
Love this! If it were staying inside, I’d say black, but purple will look festive in the garden year round.
You’ll find out soon!
