Friday!
A response in avoidance of the Daily Post’s Writing Prompt https://dailypost.wordpress.com/dp_prompt/break-the-silence/
So, it’s Friday. Stating the obvious, I know. What does this mean to me? Well, mostly it means that I can sleep in tomorrow. But, let’s do today first!
And I’ll start, as I always do, by looking at yesterday.
I got up, I worked, then I went for a walk at lunchtime:
I walked up Mt. Tolmie, in case you’re wondering where all these pictures were taken, and at the top is a big concrete platform you can walk out on and look over the hillside. This is looking out across the platform…
And this is looking back to the road…just thought it was cool.
Here are some shots from the edge of the platform:
And here are some things I saw on my way back to work.
After work, I went home and toured the house and garden. Nothing much to report on the house painting. We are at the stage where it’s hard to see what they’ve done, but I think I’ll see a bit more after today (there is still some salmon left at the back of the house, and I’m hoping it’s gone today!) So, instead of house pictures today, here are some garden shots. I think it’s been a few posts since I had any of those.
And that was my day in a nutshell.

I love the “naturalness” of your garden. Beautiful. http://judydykstrabrown.com/2015/08/14/better-said/
If by “natural” you mean messy and completely unplanned (I have a habit of just throwing plants I think might be cool into my garden and wait to see what happens), you are right – thanks! 🙂
Shame about all that concrete: wood woulda been nicer …. Garden looking great, but you know what’s missing …
I know, I know…check my next posting, coming soon…
Ha! I’m with M-R….waiting for kitty pictures!
🙂 They are coming!
